AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO KANSAS GAS SERVICE, A DIVISION OF ONE GAS, INC. AND ITS
SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE CURRENT NATURAL GAS FRANCHISE DUE
TO EXPIRE ON AUGUST 22, 2018, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 47-956.
WHEREAS, the parties hereto wish to extend the existing natural gas franchise with
Kansas Gas Service, a division of ONE Gas, Inc., through November 1, 2018 in order
to provide the parties additional time to process a new franchise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF WICHITA, KANSAS:
