  • A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF WICHITA, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-4106, 12-4113, K.S.A. 12-4204, 12-4209, 12-4301, 12-4302, 12-4303, 12-4402, 12-4407, 12-4409, 12-4501, 12-4502, 12-4503, 12-4504, 12-4508, 12-4510, 12-4512, AND 12-4513, AND AMENDMENTS THERETO; PROVIDING SUBSTITUTE AND ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS ON THE SAME SUBJECT, RELATING TO THE MUNICIPAL COURT AND THE CODE OF PROCEDURE FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE TRAFFIC COURT; AMENDING CHARTER ORDINANCE NOS. 163 AND 164 BY THE ADDITION OF SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT; AMENDING SECTION 8 OF CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 122 RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT; AND REPEALING THE ORIGINALS OF SECTION 8 OF CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 122.

    BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF WICHITA, KANSAS:

    SECTION 1. 

    Repealed by Charter Ordinance No. 220, § 6.

    SECTION 2. 

    Amended and repealed by Charter Ordinance No. 202, § 1.

    SECTION 3. Repealed by Charter Ordinance 202, § 2.

    SECTION 4. 

    Repealed by Charter Ordinance No. 220, § 6.

    SECTION 5. 

    Repealed by Charter Ordinance No. 220, § 6.

    SECTION 6. 

    Repealed by Charter Ordinance No. 220, § 6.

    SECTION 7. 

    Repealed by Charter Ordinance No. 220, § 6.

    SECTION 8. Repealed by Charter Ordinance 202, § 7.

    SECTION 9. Repealed by Charter Ordinance 202, § 8.

    SECTION 10. Amended and repealed by Charter Ordinance No. 202, § 9.

    SECTION 11. The original of Section 8 of Charter Ordinance No. 122 is hereby repealed.

    SECTION 12. This ordinance shall be published once each week for two consecutive weeks in the official city paper.

    SECTION 13. This is a Charter Ordinance and will take effect sixty-one (61) days after final publication unless a sufficient petition for a referendum is filed and a referendum held on this ordinance as provided in Article 12, Section 5, Subdivision (c)(3) of the Constitution of Kansas, in which case this Charter Ordinance shall become effective if approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon.

    PASSED BY THE GOVERNING BODY, not less than two-thirds of the members elect voting in favor thereof, this April 8, 1997.
