§ 16.14.050. Bills—Rendering—Due date.

The department of water and sewer of the city shall render bills for sewer service charges to all flat rate residential customers and the owners of record of property connected to the city's sewerage system but not having metered water consumption at intervals of at least one month. Bills so rendered shall include a charge for each month the premises were connected to the sewer without regard to whether the premises were occupied or unoccupied during all or part of the billing period and whether or not water was actually discharged into the system during the billing period.

Bills for sewer service charges to all other customers shall be rendered by the department of water and sewer in conjunction with the regular water bills to the person or legal entity designated to receive the sewerage bill for sewer service.

All bills for sewerage charges shall be payable on or before the date shown on the statement.
