§ 16.32.040. Release reporting and cleanup.

  • A.

    Any person responsible for any release of any hazardous material that may flow, leach, enter, or otherwise be introduced into the MS4 or waters of the United States shall comply with all state, federal, and any other local law requiring reporting, clean-up, containment, and any other appropriate remedial action in response to the release.

    B.

    Within thirty days following such release, the Wichita fire department shall submit a written report to the public works department detailing spill information and the methods used to remedy the problem.
