§ 18.40.080. Placard erection.

  • In addition to giving notice of alleged violations of this chapter, and after a reasonable time for correction of violations and such appeals as provided for in this chapter, the superintendent of central inspection may appropriately placard such structures that have been determined to be in violation of any provisions of this chapter. The placard shall include but not be limited to a statement that the structure is in violation of provisions of the premises maintenance standards of the city. The superintendent of central inspection shall remove such placard whenever the violations particularized in the notice have been corrected. No unauthorized person shall deface, remove or obscure.
