§ 2.08.215. Department of park and recreation.

The department of park and recreation shall consist of a director of park and recreation and such staff as may be necessary to carry on the work of the department. This department shall be responsible for maintenance and operation of parks and recreation facilities and the provision of recreation programs. The department shall provide staff support to the board of park commissioners as may be necessary to permit the Board to carry out its duties under Section 2.12.350(b).
