§ 2.12.1107. Wichita Private Industry Council—Duties.

The primary duties of the Wichita private industry council as set forth in Title VII of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act Amendments of 1978 shall be:
(1)

Serve in an advisory capacity to the city in the development and implementation of programs under Title VII; and

(2)

Consult with the city as prime sponsor with respect to other programs under CETA.

In carrying out its responsibilities, the council may utilize, to the extent appropriate, community-based organizations, labor organizations, educational agencies and institutions and economic development programs.
