§ 2.30.140. Designation of beneficiaries.

  • Each participant, by filing notice in writing with administrator, shall have the right to designate such beneficiary or beneficiaries who, if alive, shall receive any unpaid benefits hereunder in the event of a participant's death. Any such designation or designations may be revoked or changed from time to time by notice in writing filed by participant with administrator. In the absence of any such designation, or the revocation of all prior designations without a new designation, or if any designated beneficiary or beneficiaries shall predecease participant, any such unpaid benefits at the death of participant shall be paid to his spouse if she survives him, or if none, to his estate. Such notice of beneficiary designation shall be in such form and contain such terms as administrator shall from time to time prescribe.
