(a)

The City of Wichita, Kansas, in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 12-16, 102, establishes an employee benefit contribution fund for the purpose of paying the city's share of employee benefits prescribed by subsection (b) of this section.

(b)

The city's share of the cost of employee benefits authorized for payment from the fund created in this chapter shall include the following:

(1)

Social security (FICA);

(2)

Employees' retirement system;

(3)

Police and fire pension;

(4)

Workers' compensation;

(5)

Unemployment claims.
