§ 3.11.062. Additional information required for community event umbrella permit.

  • For community events considered to be an umbrella permit as set forth in Sections 3.11.060 and 3.11.055 of this code, and amendments thereto, the following information is required to accompany a community event permit application:

    (a)

    Complete information regarding any and all participating vendors who qualify as transient merchants" under Chapter 3.95 of the Code of the City of Wichita. This information shall include, at a minimum, the vendors name, date of birth, address, proof of a current sales tax license from the State of Kansas or proof of exempt status from the state sales tax, the business name of the vendor, a brief description of the business to be conducted and/or the merchandise to be sold and, for food vendors, the number of the vendor's license from the Kansas Department of Agriculture.

    (b)

    The transient merchant information must be submitted by the applicant on a form and in such detail as required by the Community Events Coordinator.

    (c)

    Vendors required to obtain a transient merchant permit who are not included as part of the originally submitted and approved or pending community event permit application may be subsequently added thereto if the applicant provides the required information and fees required by this section for the vendor or vendors to the Community Events Coordinator.

    (d)

    Additional vendors may be added to a community event umbrella permit by an applicant until five (5) business days prior to the commencement date of the community event.
