§ 3.52.040. Application; fee.

Applications for a transfer station license shall be made to the city upon such form and in such manner as may be prescribed by the director of public works. A fee of twenty-five dollars shall be charged for each application for license or license renewal to defray the administrative costs of the licensing program. Each transfer station operator shall submit an application prior to operating a transfer station within the city. All licenses shall be for a term not to exceed five years. Applications for an initial license shall be granted or denied within thirty days of the receipt of the application. Each transfer station operator shall submit an application for renewal, on forms provided by the director of public works, for a transfer station license at least ninety days prior to expiration of the license.
