§ 3.93.030. Adopted pursuant to home rule powers.

The city adopts the ordinance codified in this chapter and any franchises granted hereunder pursuant to K.S.A. 12-2001, its home rule powers, and other applicable law. Any rights contained within a franchise or license granted pursuant to this chapter are subject to the home rule powers of the city to adopt and enforce chapters necessary to the health, safety and welfare of the public. Every franchisee or licensee shall comply with all applicable laws enacted by the city pursuant to its home rule powers to the extent consistent with federal law.
