§ 5.37.080. Appeal hearing—Service of notice.

  • If there is an appeal filed with the superintendent, a copy of the notice of hearing shall he served by certified mail upon the owner who has appealed. The notice of hearing shall be served at least ten days before the hearing, and proof of service shall be made by an affidavit filed with the office of central inspection. Service shall be deemed completed at the time of the deposit of the notice in a receptacle maintained by the United States Postal Service, with postage fully prepaid. The failure of any person to receive such notice of hearing shall not affect the validity of any proceedings under this chapter.
