§ 5.68.220. Sexual battery.

(a)

Sexual battery is the touching of a victim who is 16 or more years of age, who is not the spouse of the offender and who does not consent thereto, with the intent to arouse or satisfy the sexual desires of the offender or another.

(b)

Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $2,500.00 or 12 months imprisonment or by both such fine and imprisonment.
