§ 7.72.193. Additional requirements for regulated spa pools.

(1)

Rooms which contain regulated spa pools shall be provided with adequate air circulation to prevent condensation on the walls.

(2)

Spa pools shall have a precaution sign mounted adjacent to the entrance to the spa. The sign shall state the following with clearly legible letters: CAUTION. (1) Elderly persons and those suffering from heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure should not enter the spa. (2) Unsupervised use by children is prohibited. (3) Do not use while under the influence of alcohol, anticoagulants, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants, hypnotics, narcotics or tranquilizers. (4) Do not use alone. (5) Observe a reasonable time limit. Long exposures may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting.
