§ 11.13.020. False information.

  • (a)

    It is unlawful for the owner of a motor vehicle registered or required to be registered in the state to give false information concerning financial security for the operation of such motor vehicle as required by this chapter.

    (b)

    It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to give false information concerning another's financial security for the operation of a motor vehicle registered or required to be registered in the state, knowing or having reason to believe that such information is false.
