§ 14.08.010. Purpose of chapter.

The purpose of this chapter shall be to promote, stimulate and develop the general economic welfare and prosperity of the City of Wichita through the promotion and advancement of industrial development in this city; to encourage and assist in the location of new industry and in the expansion of existing industrial development; and to promote the economic stability of this city by providing greater employment opportunities and diversification of industry, thus promoting the general welfare by authorizing the creation of an industrial district or districts and the enlargement thereof by an addition or additions thereto from time to time by the board of commissioners.
