§ 14.08.020. Size—Zoning—Other criteria.

Industrial districts shall contain at least one hundred sixty contiguous acres of land, located entirely within the corporate limits of the city of Wichita, more than one-half of which shall be zoned either "E," light industrial, or "F," heavy industrial, or a combination thereof, and which is developed for industrial purposes or held for future use for an industrial purpose. Further, the land within the industrial district shall not have had taxes levied against it for the payment of bonds and interest for bonds issued previously by the city. Industrial purposes, as used in this section, shall include those uses permitted in zoning districts "E," light industrial, or "F," heavy industrial.
