§ 18.40.360. Plumbing.

  • All connected plumbing fixtures shall be in good working condition and properly connected to a water system and to a sewerage system approved by the health officer.

    Every plumbing fixture and water and waste pipe shall be maintained in good sanitary working condition, free from defects, leaks, and obstructions.

    All structures shall have plumbing maintained to all the applicable requirements of the health code, plumbing code and the building code.

    Every stack, waste line, and sewer line located in a structure and connecting sewer line shall be maintained as to function properly and not be a source of structural deterioration or a health hazard. All stacks, waste lines, and sewer lines shall be kept free from obstructions, leaks, and defects.
