§ 18.40.370. Supporting structural members.

  • Supporting structural members of every structure shall be structurally sound and capable of bearing the imposed load safely. Supporting structural members shall be considered to be structurally sound if such members are capable of bearing imposed live and dead loads safely and if there is no evidence of deterioration that seriously degrades its structural capacity.
