§ 18.40.440. Floors.

Every interior and exterior floor shall be kept in sound condition and good repair, and constructed of a building material recognized for that purpose.

Floors shall be considered to be in sound condition and good repair if found capable of bearing all live, dead and imposed loads.

Every floor surface in kitchens, toilet rooms, bathrooms and shower rooms and floor surface in areas where interior water dispensing plumbing fixtures are located shall be constructed and maintained so as to be reasonably impervious to water and so as to permit such floor to be easily kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
