§ 29.04.100. Section 316 amended.

  • Section 316 of the Guidelines for Solar Energy Installations, 1984 Edition, is hereby amended to read as follows:

    "Solar energy systems, either by inherent design features or by equipping the system with the necessary controls, shall prevent the addition of energy to thermal storage when the maximum allowable temperature of the storage subsystem has been reached. The maximum allowable temperature is defined as the solar storage subsystem manufacturer's recommended maximum temperature.

    "All solar domestic hot water delivery systems shall incorporate either tempering apparatus or high-limit protection."
