§ 29.04.090. Section 310 amended.

Section 310 of the Guidelines for Solar Energy Installations, 1984 Edition, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Protection against water penetration around openings and extensions of solar components through the roof, floors and walls shall be in accordance with:

"1.

All non-masonry roof and wall penetrations shall be sealed using silicone sealant compatible with the existing material and having a minimum five (5) year exterior life expectancy.

2.

All masonry roof and wall penetrations shall be sealed using an appropriate sealant having a minimum five (5) year exterior life expectancy."
