Section 703 of the Guidelines for Solar Energy Installations, 1984 Edition, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Piping Insulation. All pipes in a solar system which carry heated water shall be insulated to a minimum value of R-3, except as prohibited by Section 308 of this Code. Insulation on pipes shall be protected with weather and ultraviolet resistant material."
