§ 2.12.1051. Same—Safety force.

There is created a safety force, the members of which shall be appointed by the city on behalf of the Wichita airport authority.

A safety officer appointed hereunder shall have the same power, authority, responsibility and immunity as duly appointed and commissioned police officers of the city; provided, however, this authority shall be exercised only within and upon the property under the control and jurisdiction of the airport authority and on roads adjacent thereto.

Nothing contained herein shall in any way be construed to limit or restrict the police power of the city.
