§ 2.12.180. Same—Composition; chairman, vice-chairman and secretary.

The city manager shall be the chairman of the board of bids and contracts, and the director of public works shall be vice-chairman of such board. In the absence of both chairman and vice-chairman, the remaining members of the board shall choose one of their number to act as chairman. The city clerk or his duly appointed deputies in his absence, shall act as secretary of the board of bids and contracts but shall have no vote in the deliberation of the board of bids and contracts.
