§ 2.40.010. Authority to make deductions.

From and after the effective date of coverage into the Federal Social Security System of the employees of the city, the board of park commissioners of the city and the Wichita library board, the city treasurer, and the treasurers of such two boards, are hereby authorized and directed to deduct, withhold and pay over to the authorized state agency all contributions required by Federal Social Security to be so deducted, withheld and paid over as to all persons in covered employment with the city and the two abovementioned boards.
