The license required by Section 3.36.040 shall authorize the applicant to conduct or carry on an auction or auction sale for
the furniture, household goods or pianos described in the inventory, at the location
or place described in the application. Such sale shall be conducted upon the date
set out in the license; provided, however, that the sale may be postponed once to
a future date under the license issued. No auction or auction sale shall be carried
on under the provisions of this chapter at any other location than that described
in the license, nor shall any auction or auction sale, for which a license is issued
under the provisions of this chapter, be carried on, on any other day than the day
set out in the license, or in case the sale is postponed at the date of the postponement
of the sale, as herein provided.
