§ 3.52.020. Definitions.

(a)

"Solid waste" for purposes of this chapter means refuse, garbage, trash, residential trash, commercial trash, and industrial solid waste, as defined in Section 7.08.020 of the Code of the City of Wichita.

(b)

"Transfer station" for the purpose of this chapter means any enclosed facility where solid wastes are transferred from one vehicle or rail car to another or where solid wastes are stored and consolidated before being transported for disposal elsewhere.
