§ 3.97.060. License—Display.

(a)

Individual vendors licensed hereunder shall have their licenses on their persons at all times while conducting business. All other vendors hereunder who have representatives who conduct business under the authority of such vendor's license shall require such representatives to carry identification cards stating the name of the company, the name of the representative and the city license number for that vendor. The licensed vendor shall be responsible for the cost of obtaining such identification cards.

(b)

The following acts shall be a violation of this chapter:

(1)

Failure of any person licensed hereunder to present such license for inspection when requested to do so by any officer of the city, or by any person the licensee is soliciting for sales;

(2)

Failure of any representative of a licensed vendor to present such representative's identification card when requested to do so by any officer of the city, or by any person the representative is soliciting for sales;

(3)

For any vendor who has representatives to knowingly allow such representative to engage in street vending without obtaining identification cards as set forth in subsection (a), and without carrying such identification cards upon their persons. (Ord. No. 41-780 § 1)
