§ 9.27.030. Definitions.

For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases used herein shall have the following meanings unless otherwise clearly indicated by the context:
(a)

"Water craft" shall mean any row boat, canoe, power boat, paddle boat, electrically powered boat, sail craft or boat of any type, and shall include personal watercraft.

(b)

"Power boat" shall mean any water craft powered by a combustible engine.

(c)

"Aquaplaning" shall mean driving and/or riding in a power boat for pleasure.

(d)

"Personal watercraft" shall mean those water craft commonly referred to as "jet skis" or "water bikes."

(e)

"No wake speed" shall mean five miles per hour or less.
