§ 9.35.100. Events.

  • (a)

    No person shall hold or stage an event on Airport property without prior written permission from the Director.

    (b)

    All pickets, protests, demonstrations, assemblies, political activity, informational leafleting or other events shall comply with all rules, regulations, and Airport Standard Operating Procedures adopted by the Director for such activities.

    (c)

    As a condition of authorization, the Airport Authority may require reimbursement for its costs of personnel, equipment, and/or supplies used in support of such activity, and may impose fair and reasonable rental rates for extended use of any space under the administration of the Airport Authority. In determining the appropriate amount of security for an event, the Director shall not consider the content of the applicant's speech, the measure of hostility likely to be created by the applicant's speech or the response of others who may oppose the event.
