§ 11.88.040. Use of roads or drives by trucks.

  • It is unlawful for any person to drive or haul along, whether loaded or not loaded, any wagon, threshing machine, car or vehicle used for business purposes or for commercial or heavy hauling or traffic, upon any boulevard, park drive, or park road in the city; provided, that the board of park commissioners may authorize the issuing of a permit for the driving of motor trucks over or on park roads, drives, or boulevards for the purpose of conveying passengers or picnickers, or for transporting food, supplies or other articles for use at a picnic, meeting or gathering, or for transporting materials and supplies for use in the park.
