§ 14.04.030. Compliance—Certificate required.

A qualified industry shall comply with this chapter as to all its technical activities, and shall be regulated by the city under its technical codes only to the extent provided in this chapter, as long as such industry is the holder of a valid industrial compliance certificate issued pursuant to Section 14.04.050 hereof. Notwithstanding the terms of this chapter, however, a qualified industry shall be required to apply for and obtain a building permit as required by the technical codes before undertaking any new construction as above defined.
