§ 2.12.060. Wichita Art Museum—Continuity of ownership, regulation, and control.

(a)

The Wichita art museum board created by Ordinance No. 23-237 is abolished effective January 1, 1998.

(b)

The City of Wichita is declared to be the successor in interest to all power and authority and control heretofore vested in the Wichita art museum board by state law or city ordinance, including as the same relates to all property, real and personal, owned or held by the Wichita art museum board, and all debts, contracts, and obligations lawfully entered into by the Wichita art museum board during the period such powers were exercised by such board, upon the event of subsection (a) of this section.
