§ 2.12.370. Same—Continuity of regulation and control.

The city is declared to be the successor in interest to all power and authority and control heretofore vested in the board of park commissioners by Chapters 9.04, 9.08, 9.28, 13.04, and other provisions of the Code of the City of Wichita. All permits and licenses heretofore lawfully issued and all rules and regulations heretofore lawfully adopted by the board of park commissioners under this Code shall continue in full force and effect under their terms as such permits, licenses, rules and regulations of the city. All reference in this Code to the "board of park commissioners" shall be deemed to be reference to the "City of Wichita" except where otherwise provided in the ordinance codified in this section or Charter Ordinance No. 125 or where the context clearly provides otherwise.
